We got tired of all the chaos in our lives
This is what we did about it
A feeling of frustration
If you’re reading this, you’re probably like me, feeling frustrated about all the small things that need your attention scattered all over the place. At home, there’s paper notes for everything, shopping lists, checklists of things to fix. There’s a board for your housing project, but it won’t get updated. There are appointments to be remembered, tasks to do, critical work-related projects, family to take care of, and the list goes on. The result, things start to slip.
Too many tools, too much chaos
To solve for it, you add all these tools, and yes, there’s plenty of them, but the more you add, the worse it seems to get. And all these tools need maintenance to work, and you often find yourself spending more time organizing the tool itself than doing the actual work.
We felt this chaos, and we lived through it for many years, causing minor but long-lasting stress. So we decided to do something about it.
Simple yet sophisticated
We wanted to create something so easy to use it can replace a post-it note, but sophisticated enough to manage a big project.
The first thing to do was to put all your notes, ideas, tasks, files, knowledge, and information in one place, available to you wherever you are. Need to plan a trip? Manage a project? A grocery list?
Then add the ability to share with anyone you want, to collaborate, give feedback, even to those without an account. The last and most crucial step was to package all of this in a simple, easy-to-use interface, so you can focus on doing the actual work.
Everything is organized in one place
This is what Doit.io is all about. To give you all the components you need to get organized from one central place. We hope this will give you a sense of why we created Doit. We also know that challenging existing habits is not an easy task, and we need your help to make it happen.
So give it a try and let us know what you think. We can’t wait for your feedback!
